Creator programme
Your code. Your viewers save. You earn.
Make gaming videos, especially proximity chat and voice chat clips? Substrike captions them on your own PC, each friend in their own colour. Get your own discount code for your viewers, earn 30% of every sale it brings in, and ask for a free licence.
Why creators like it
Substrike is a Windows app that captions your gaming clips on your PC. Point the watch folder at your replay folder and new clips are picked up as you save them. Each friend gets their own caption colour, so a busy voice chat stays easy to follow. Living captions bring the words to life, and one export gives you a 9:16 video ready for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
It is a one time purchase: $29 USD for the first 300 buyers, then $39 USD. There is a 7 day free trial, so your viewers can try it before they pay.
The terms, in plain English
- Your code
- You get your own Paddle discount code. It gives your viewers 10% off at checkout.
- Your commission
- You earn 30% of the net sale price for every licence bought with your code. Net means the price after the 10% discount, not counting any tax or fees taken at checkout.
- Payouts
- Paid by Christian on the 15th of each month by PayPal or Wise, once your confirmed balance reaches $20 USD.
- Refunds
- Refunded sales do not earn commission. Buyers have a 14 day refund window, so a sale is confirmed once that window has passed.
- Free licence
- Every creator in the programme gets a free licence for up to 2 of their own PCs, the same licence buyers get. If you post gaming clips, especially proximity chat or voice chat clips, just ask.
Tell your audience, every time
Your viewers trust you, and we want to keep it that way. If you got a free licence or you earn commission, label the post clearly as an ad or sponsored, so nobody has to guess.
- In Australia, follow the AiMCO code and Ad Standards guidance on disclosing paid and gifted content.
- In the US, follow the FTC’s endorsement rules.
- Use each platform’s paid partnership tool where it has one, and say it in the video or caption too, near the start where people will see it.
Plain wording works best, such as “ad, I get a free licence” or “ad, I earn commission if you use my code”. Not sure how to phrase it? Ask and we will help.
Keep it honest
- Tell the truth about the app. The good to know page and the proof page say what it does and does not do.
- No buying through your own code.
How to apply
Email support@substrike.com.au with a link to your channel. Christian answers every email himself, usually within 2 business days, and sets up your code and, if you post gaming clips, your free licence.
